Using Teleprompter Software
Posted on 16 October 2010 by Martin Butler
If you have ever wondered how presenters know what to say? Well, they use an autocue. This is a device that sits in front of the camera and scrolls text in front of the camera lens for the presenter to read from giving the illusion that he is looking into the camera and speaking to you directly. You cannot see the words as they are being reflected by special mirrors. The drawback for the video creator from home is that an autocue is a very expensive bit of equipment.
However, I use a very good bit of software that costs around $59 and will create the exact same effect. Check out the video above for more details.
Starting Your Home Business – Your First Steps

Trying to mimic the successful is not the real way you should be adopting when you start your own home business. A lot of Internet gurus tell you to copy the successful and you will see similar results.
The problem here is that most of the things a guru does now has no bearing on what he/she did when they started. The ones who succeeded in a relatively short space of time normally had the edge in one way or another.
This could have been one of the following: a large amount of money available, specialist knowledge on a subject, well known and respected in their chosen field, or contacts or joint venture partners.
Any one of the above will give you a head start but the trouble with most people wanting to break out of the rat race is, they are too conditioned by the system and as a result of this, they need to be mentored to adjust to a new train of thought.
Working from home is just the goal. You need to learn what you need to do to achieve this goal. This will vary depending on a host of individual circumstances unique to you.
Your first decision should be, what area would you like to work in? This should be something you like or enjoy. What’s the use of running a business you have no interest in?
You should then explore the niche and find out where money is being spent and find out on what.
You should then find out the demand for things in your niche and find the successful people trading in your chosen niche.
Once you have the above info, you should be able to asses or mimic the successful traders in your niche. Your investigation may involve finding suppliers, Contacting them and possibly pretending to be a customer so you can asses the way they do business and see if you can find out where they get their stock from.
Check out their website and type their name into google and see where else they advertise.
All this research should be done before you decide to dive head first into a niche. Unfortunately, most people are seduced into thinking they can go in to the hot markets and be able to make a fortune. This is mostly because the so called gurus, mislead people into thinking it is easy to make a fortune online. This hot markets I am talking about are:
diet and fitness, health and beauty, business opportunity’s, forex trading, gambling, betting, to name but a few.
If you have brought into the dream of easy riches and are considering any of the markets listed above, with no knowledge or standing in these markets, You will fail.
Start in smaller niches and grow one step at a time. You will get there if you have the desire and take action and follow my guidelines as stated above.
Regards
Martin
