About Martin Butler

Hi, My name is Martin Butler and I finally broke out of the rat race in 2005. From the age of 16, I had worked as an electrician and have never been involved in sales and marketing. I had worked in many areas of building maintenance from building sites to high end building maintenance in the TV industry.

The older I got, the more hours I seemed to work. This was not what I wanted out of life. I saw many wealthy people throughout my working career and most of them seemed to have all the trappings I wanted whilst I was struggling to make ends meet, even though I was on a good wage.

I was fed up being told what to do by fools and idiots and decided to see if I could do something else. I brought into a host of “get rich quick” schemes and quickly realised that the only people getting rich were the people selling the dream to desperate people. I lost around £12,000-£15,000 learning that lesson.

I was 41 years old, working away from home every 4 days and sleeping in the back of a transit van whilst away. I remember laying in the back of the van that last winter and there were icicles on the inside of my van  and the temprature inside the van was minus 5 degrees.

Enough was enough, I decided to take a year out, I had enough savings to pay the bills for a year and decided to dedicate all my time to find out how to really make money from home using the internet as a tool.

Check out my First steps guide to find out what I did to see if you could do the same too. That was in 2005. In 2008, I decided to create the UK Internet Marketing School to show people who wanted to do the same as me. The main difference with my training is that I don’t use the hard sell tactics that other successful internet marketers do.

I tell it as it is and don’t pull the wool over your eyes. I believe that everybody should be able to learn how to use their home PC to generate an income, after all, we are in the 21st Century and the older you get, (especially if you are over 40) the less chance you have of getting another job if you fall out of work.

Do Have a look around my site and feel free to drop me a line and I will reply.
